HOÀNG HÀ COMPANY IS HONORED TO BE AMONG THE FIVE PILOT PROJECTS ON GREEN TECHNOLOGY INTRODUCED AT THE DEMONSTRATION SESSION UNDER THE “GREEN TECH LANDING PAD” PROGRAM SPONSORED BY THE GERMAN GOVERNMENT.

Hoàng Hà Company had the honor of participating in the “For a Sustainable Garment and Textile Industry in Việt Nam’ exhibition held in Hanoi on June 17. At the event, Hoàng Hà introduced a waste heat recovery solution. This exhibition was part of the “Green Tech Landing Pad” program, sponsored by the German government through GIZ and Việt Nam’s National Innovation Center (NIC). The program aims to promote sustainable manufacturing practices in Việt Nam’s textile and garment industry to meet European market standards.

Việt Nam’s textile and garment industry, contributing an average of USD 30-50 billion annually to the GDP, is poised for significant growth under agreements such as the EVFTA. However, businesses are facing technical challenges in transitioning to green and sustainable production methods to comply with EU regulations and capitalize on growth opportunities. The “Green Tech Landing Pad” program addresses these challenges by seeking, connecting, and supporting Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises in adopting green technologies.

Hoàng Hà’s waste heat recovery solution was among the technologies showcased at the exhibition, alongside solutions such as energy management by IoTeamVN, cloud-based labor cost calculation by Enedig Kft, pineapple fabrics and fibers by ECOSOI, and polyester and cellulose recycling by BlockTexx. These technologies received positive evaluations from domestic partners like VINATEX, Faslink, Thịnh Phúc, and Kyungbang, demonstrating their potential for application and scalability.

Mr. Vũ Quốc Huy, Director of NIC, emphasized the program’s crucial role in equipping Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises with advanced and environmentally friendly technologies to enhance competitiveness and drive comprehensive industry transformation.

Mr. Dennis Quennet, Director of Sustainable Economic Development at GIZ Việt Nam, affirmed Germany’s commitment to supporting Việt Nam’s green transition. He underscored ongoing collaboration with both public and private sectors to bolster the role of startups and SMEs, thereby improving competitiveness, creating opportunities, and generating employment.

The “Green Tech Landing Pad” program successfully connected nine new technological solutions with seven textile and garment export companies, addressing common technical issues such as sludge treatment, heat recovery, fabric recycling, energy optimization, labor management, and the use of new sustainable materials. This marks a significant step towards establishing a sustainable future for Việt Nam’s textile and garment industry.
